In a family of three, the patriarch passed away suddenly, and his wife did not shed a drop of tear. Reason? She wanted to be the strength of her teenage daughter. But people saw that differently. Soon, there were rumors that she did not love her husband, was relieved to see him dead, and was probably having an affair.
Now tell me, isn’t criticism the easiest thing in the world?
Isn’t this something that instinctively flows within all of us? — spitting opinions about someone without even knowing the entire story.
But how about changing the approach?
The next time you feel like condemning someone, pause for a moment and repeat — Live and Let Live.
Remember — Constructive criticism is acceptable. But it’s not okay to cross the line and make personal attacks for it’s easy to vilify someone but it’s way harder to be understanding and forgiving.
